Hey guys, this is my first thread for the "Forced Induction" Forum, im kind of a newbie to all of this turbo/supercharger stuff, so if i ask a stupid question, pls let me no about it. Has anybody ever heard of the ESC Electric Supercharger for the 3.0 L V6 engine? I found it on www.Boosthead.com and it kind of sounds like a pretty good deal, they say u can supposably get 50 -100 more horsepower only using 5 psi on a stock 3.0 L V6. If any of ya'll Turbo/Supercharger gurus out there no have used this product. let me know how it works, and if its really worth the $2500 that it costs.

Take a few minutes to google 'electric supercharger' as well as searching it here. It's been discussed at length, and generally dismissed.

Oh, boy! Another hair drier thread!!!

lol just use a leaf blower it works better. bwahahahahah 2500$ for short burts of power bwahahahhaaaa **** thomas knight what a rip off. There blindly raping people who don't know a thing.

Exactly theres the proof that it dosent work. The batteries only have enough juice for "short burts" Oh yeah electro-turbo is sooooo much better than the real thing!

yea for $2500, you can just buy a real turbo set-up and have on-going power instead of wasting your battery power.... haha

Ha Ha lol, I had a feeling deep down inside, something didn't sound rite about an Electric Turbo Charger, thanks guys, Anyway, do ya'll know any cheap ways to turbo charge, or supercharge a 3.0 L V6? Ive heard you can turbo a 2.3 L but ive never heard of sumone doing that to a 3.0 L. Any help would b greatly appricieated. Thanks

build a manifold to hold the superchager. would be one way..im sure you could do a turbo kit, but i dont know how the 3.0 would respond to it?

Just build a Y pipe to a turbo flanges ...blah blah blah ..."search". Its been covered before and the search button is your friend. the 3.0 has beeen turbocharged before and even twin turbocharged.

Why don't you just re-route your AC blower motor to your Throttle Body, it'll save you $2500 and give you about the same affect.
