My credo
I need more sleep.
A throwback of the 60's and 70's muscle cars is now here! Equus has come out with the Bass 770, a American muscle car! I thought this was cool, it looks awesome, sounds awesome, and it costs only $250,000! So, I don't think I'll ever be getting one. Just glad to see someone taking the time to bring the style back, unlike Dodge mutilating the Charger.

And on the side note, for $300,000+ you can get with a designer and make it your own, with almost unlimited customization.

Very Very COOL. I've tried to tell the auto companies this would sell well for a few years now....

Edit: Just saw that the speedo registers 220 MPH:icon_surprised:
Also the frame looks very weak. And it seems unnecessarily complicated.

I think with that much money you could do better.
The market for that particular car will be very small.

Looks good, but who the hell is Equus? Never heard of them never seen one etc. Made in USA, where? Their website is pretty vague and pretty slow to load.

Only Equus that I know of makes electronics. (Code Readers for one.)

They have a website listed in the OP, but it takes a while to load certain parts of it, looks like they are based in Michigan somewhere. However, their outrageous price isn't going to make it sell hardly at all. I seriously do not see $250-300k in that car.

Not to mention the only transmission available is a 6 speed manual, which will turn a lot of people away because they either don't know how to drive a manual or too lazy. But the price alone is going to make people run away.

Equus is a new company, it's top speed is 200mph, and if people want it, they will buy it.

I would think that if they had a more economical price they would draw in a lot more sales. Not saying its bad, just saying in today's economy the only people that would be after something that expensive is someone who's pretty rich. I just don't see $200+K in that car.

Looks like an old mustang body shell with loads of custom/new furnishings.

Its like a mix of a Charger, Cuda, and Mustang
