so when i first got my ranger i could get it up to about 98 mph then it shifted into 5th and had no power. then about 4 weeks later i decided to clean my M.A.F. after i did that the truck governs at 92 and seems like during 4th gear at about 4200 rpms the tach drops to 3800 like it shifted resulting in no power and a top speed of 92 mph. any help or insite from other people with this problem would be great. just dont know if its a tranny problem or a gov problem. either way idc just want to know. thank you for listening.:icon_pepsi:

Good question haha. Well see I was trying a street rod approach and just wanted to know what my top out was. So you have answers to my question.

answers please suggestions. help wanted hahah.

more the likely it is the speed limiter that is programmed into you trucks computer. There are a few hand held tuners on the market that can eliminate that problem plus enhance the peroformance of your truck

but one day my truck would go 100+ and after cleaning my maf sensor it will top out at 92? why?
