engine temp sensor

i followed anothers advice and found my problem i need a new engine temp sensor , its a single wire sensor , problem is i typed a search for one and came up with nothing for a 87 2.9l ranger does anyone have a part number or
know for sure where i can get one? or are there other year rangers that the part is interchangable?

It's the same sensor used by most FoMoCo products.
