Engine Swap Questions

I pulled an Engine from an Auto and I have a Manual Trans.. Does it bolt up exactly or Do I need to swap some things over and what not?

You'll need to swap the flywheel and clutch of course, but thats it.

Do I remove the Torque Converter? and put those on instead?

Yes. Remove the torque converter and flex plate, and then bolt on the flywheel and clutch from the manual motor. Make sure you get a new pilot bearing if yours is worn out, and you may want to put in a new clutch if yours is worn.

idk, is your clutch still the original? that's up to you if you change it now or not. its a good placement of money if you have the money. i know i'm broke so idk if i could at the same time or not, it just causes more work later.

Not sure if its Original... the guy I bought it off of told me NOTHING about the truck. He didnt really answer my questions. haha

You can pick up a complete clutch kit for around $80 but you get what you pay for. Plain and simple.

I have a CFII clutch in mine (Not by choice was there when I bought it) If you decide to go with a CF clutch dont use their release bearing. It will go out appx 10k later if your lucky. I had to replace the bearing right after purchasing the truck. I replaced it with a Timken Bearing and haven't had a issue as of yet.
