so im working on putting a new long block into my 87 ranger. right now it is sitting a kind of funny and i dont really know why and just need some ideas on what might be causeing this. the engine is raised up more in the fron than the back. its on new motor mounts and is bolted to the transmission with no problems. i think his kind of paints a good picture of whats going on and like i said any help or other ideas. thanks

If the trans is not bolted to the cross member the engine block will sit higher in the front. If it is bolted in it has no choice but to sit at the right angle Hope that helps.:icon_thumby:

ok cool. well i put the radiator in and it seemed to be even with the fan so then i tried putting on the hood and it fit so i guess i was just thinking it was sitting high but it works. thanks for the help
