Engine Rebuild Manual

Hello,

I have to completely rebuild the 3.0 flex fuel engine in my 1999 Ranger. I have driven myself nuts, searching the net for a rebuild book.

I have used HP Books "How to rebuild your Ford small block" and "how to rebuild your Ford big block" manuals in the past, but cannot find any books for the 1999 V6.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Ford shop manual would be your best bet.

I do have the complete set of Ford Factory Manuals, but they are really tough to get thru. They are written for an 'inside' factory trained pro to use them. Was hoping to find a more basic, step by step book, like those mentioned above.

My first engine tear down and rebuild (Honda) was done with a Haynes Manual.
Engine started up immediately after with no issues.
