Hydro locked my engine, bent a rod and sent a chunck of so
s/amthin through the oil pan, I dont feel like typing a lot right now so im just gunna post the pics. Whole process of removing the engine took 2 days. about 6 hrs, I have never done it before. Im gunna start tearing into the engine tomorrow and ill keep posting picks as I go.

Since your this far, put a 4.0 in her.
 
What are your plans btw? 4.0 or keeping the 3.0?

Thats a nice truck though man. Looking forward to see whats inside!
 
change the clutch slave cylinder while you have it pulled!
 
Im pullin the pan today and seein how torn up it is inside, if it aint salvageable its definatly gettin a 4.0, and a snorkel lol
 
you do know the factory intake snorkel is below the passenger headlight...

sorry to hear ya hydrolocking again....

but, i agree you need to upgrade to the 4.0....

Yea the cowl induction snorkel didnt work for me.
More progress my mechanich buddy is gunna come over to tell me if my block is for sure cracked but he was pretty certain that it was.

There is also misc chunks of metal and shaving floatin around in everything
 
I havnt had any lucck on craigslist so tomorrow I am callin some yards, the 4.0 is still an option as well as the 3.0, and yes I will needa new tranny with the 4.0
