Engine Mounts + Tranny Mount Questions

Looks like its time to replace the motor mounts as well as the tranny mount. I read the all data on the replacement procedure for the engine. It just says to remove the nuts/bolts on the mounts and then jack up the engine by placing a jack under the oil pan (using wood inbetween).

Is it this simple or is there more to it? Any tips?

Also for the transmission mount, do I just take off the nuts/bolts and raise the transmission as well?

Any help would be appreciated. Just need to make sure that I can raise the engine from the oil pan without damaging any wires/hoses or the oil pan itself.

Theres not much info on the process of removing the tranny or engine mounts on forums.

Yep! It's that simple.. If your tranny crossmember is bolted to the frame and the bolts are nice and clean and not rusted all to hell and gone... jacking the tranny up a bit to hold it and then taking the Xmember off is the best way for the tranny mounts.

Basically, they are correct.
The engine mounts are more of a hassle to put back in than get out, but it is very doable.
The transmission mount is what you said, but the cross member will more than likely need to be moved a little to get the mount off of it.
