Im looking for a pic of where the engine harness goes thru the firewall. Preferably a 1st gen but 2nd gen would work also.

I have a 83 ranger that im doing a 2.3 turbo swap in and i know it must be on the pass. side floor area, but dont know the exact location. Im new to rangers as this is the first i have owned, and obviously my truck was carbed so the hole is not there.

Passenger side, best I got of 85 b-2;

thanks for the pics.
What I'm looking for is a pic of where the engine harness goes thru the firewall, i pretty sure is under the heater box area somewhere.

It is below the heater box. It really can't be seen with the box in place. I have a gen 1 with the box out right now, if I remember I'll snap a picture after work.

If you remove the kick panel from the passenger side foot well you should be able to see the hole from the inside of the cab. It's about 4 or 5 inches long, oval shaped.

That would be great.
my truck does not have a kick panel, its the plain jane model no p/s or power brakes,carbed 2.0 4 speed originally and a very early 83 at that, so im not sure if there was a hole or indention made in them at that time.

ever get a chance to get a pic?
