I have a 89 4x4 manual transmission that dies when slowing down especially when releasing the clutch and going into neutral. I’ve replaced the crankshaft position sensor and egr & ICM so far. Engine idles perfect and runs perfect. when engine dies it is quick, no choking or feeling of lack of fuel or air. I’m stumped. Help.

Hows your IAC valve?

I second that, idle air control is likely the culprit and would be the first place I would look
