Engine cover?

do they make a chrome engine come for a 96 ranger, instead of that plastic one that says 4.0 on it.

i saw a 3 litre made of metal and they guy polished it and made it look sick but ive never seen a metal one for a 4 litre other then the old motors 93 come to mind but i could be wrong

They do come on the 93 i can tell you that.
Multiranger sanded his down and polished it up really nice.

After about 9 hours of sanding starting with 80 grit then moving to 180, 320, 600, then 1500. (80, 180, 320 were dry on a sander. 600 andf 1500 was wet sanding. Still a long way to go before it is done.. There are still a lot of pits needing to be sanded... If it wasn't for those it wouldn't be so bad.

thats the one i was talking about. will the 93 intake for on a 97 motor? ive never actually looked i just know i have the plastic one and probally can get one from a 93 for free.

That would be the upper intake...when did people start calling it the engine cover? I thought you were referring to the plastic cover that goes over the throttle cable at first.
