ok i just pulled the engine out of my truck due to a valve problem and a hole in a piston. Well i am rebuilding the engine and while i have the engine out i want to clean up the engine compartment. My question is what can i remove form the engine compartment that i don't really need??? I already started removing the a/c but is there anything else i can take out. The black box on the fire wall on the passenger side what is that and can it be removed? any help would be great.

thats the blower housing and part of the duct work for heat and ac

yeah i took out my engine last year. you could take out the raidator and washer fluid resavouar and use one that mounts to the radiator. not sure how much it costs i'll let you kno when i get mine but that will free up some room for you.
