engine bay pics anybody got some

im starting to clean up my b2. i want to clean up the engine bay but would also like to dress it up some and just looking for some tips. the old girl is a 87 and has done good in her life now she going to get some loveing. thanks for any help tips or pics:D
 
Here's my '95 bay after I cleaned it up.

The first step is a clean bay. Dress up stuff looks just as bad when it gets dirty.

In my world, the engine bay doesn't need to be fancy or dressed up. It just needs to be clean and in correct working order. Leaks of any kind drive me nuts to the point that I will tear apart the engine to fix those s.o.b. leaks.
 
Not my ranger, but it's an engine bay. This is my Miata.

Look you can see the engine! lol ... or did you mean a clean engine bay as in no dirt? cause that I don't have... its nye impossible to keep an engine bay looking clean if you drive dirt roads all day long... just aint gonna happen

Unaccpectable. Take that engine bay to the car wash and power spray that engine clean. Also, wheres the air cleaner element?
 
Original_Ranger84 thats what im looking for cleaning up all the unneeded junk under the hood. i have removed the ac system, going to start on the cruse control crap next. it a 2.9 under 50 miles of 20years of vac. lines. ill get a pic today if it stops raining thanks guys

I did lol... it was all clean for all of a day.. they day I spent cleaning it... then the next day it rained and i couldn't resist the mud holes... :D

The air cleaners probably sitting on the work bench as I just got a new carb as you can see!:yahoo: ...well mostly new.
