Hey guys hows it going? I'm running into a problem on my 95 Ranger 2.3L.
I live in arizona but my ranger came from california and has OBD II. The problem I'm having is I ran it through emission yesterday and it passed on the emissions part but failed on the vapor part. So I went through replaced every vacum line going to the gas tank, I did find a crack in the gas tank filler neck so I replaced it. Took it back through emission and it still failed the vapor portion of the test. Now I kind of at a lose, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to drop the tank and maybe reseal the fuel pump, I've run into that before on other vehicles. I'm just wondering if anyone would have any ideas as to what else to look for. Thanks for your help. I'm just hoping I don't have a hole in the tank some place but there are no wet spots.
By the way I have no codes no check engine light.
