i have the electric t case with the 4 high and low buttons with manual hubs. can i drive with out my hubs locked in while in 4 low or will that do damage. i know i can drive around with my hubs locked but in 2 wheel with out damage but it would be cool to do 2 low

Yes you can use 2WD-low if you want (Lo w/hubs not locked). I do this myself sometimes if I just need the low gear, not necessarily 4WD.

but since this is trying to split the power between front and rear and there is no load on the front wont it be bad? i believe torque bind to be the word

As long as the hubs are unlocked it's no problem. 2 low is great for backing up the trailer.
