Its battery cable replacement time. I ordered the negative cable from Rockauto, and it is over 4 feet long. Where does the end of the cable attach? Also, I need to replace the short cable that runs from the solenoid to the fuse box. How do I remove the fuse box end?

Thanks

The long cable runs from the starter motor (you will see a connector on it that you need to attach the cable to) and goes to the negative post on the battery...

Fuse box end? The battery cables do not connect to a fuse box on that year...or any year that I know of...there is a ground cable that attaches to the connector on the battery, but that runs from the chasis to the ground cable only...

Maybe someone has pics, or you can check the junkyard for a similar setup if you have one handy...

The wire to the "power distribution" box. On the pass fender. It is about 6" long. Its a positive wire.

No one here has ever had to replace the main wire to the power distribution box? I'm a bit lost in ford land... This is my first motor vehicle that was not made on a different continent. How do I replace the wire going from the solenoid to the power distribution box?
