Electrical problems after a lot of rain

I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice. I have a 2004 Ford Ranger Tremor 4x4. About 8 months ago my truck started some minor electrical problems after a hard rain. In each case my door locks went crazy. When I open my door they automatically lock without me doing anything and my automatic locks will only unlock (not lock) when i push the button. After a day or so of dry weather they go back to normal.

Well just this week with tropical storm/depression Ida we got 5 inches of rain and not only have my door locks gone crazy my speakers wont work either. I have checked all fuses and all are fine. My speakers did work for about 5 minutes yesterday afternoon but quickly went back to not working again. The radio itself functions properly.

It sounds like a short is somewhere. Where do I begin to look? On a scale of 1-10 (10 being handy) at truck maintenance I am a 4, so if it isn't simple work then I may have to take it in.

My stereo is the upgraded Pioneer system with 6 disc changer with 10" subwoofer.

Thanks for any help you can give me!!
