Hey guys,

I am the proud owner of a 2011 Sport 4x4 reg cab. I know for a fact that the BW1354 under my truck is the same either electric or manual, therefore, the only difference is the shift motor or shift linkage.

I want to convert my truck to manual shift linkage. What are the new parts I will need? What parts will I be removing from my truck (I.E.: 4x4 selector switch and/or 4x4 control module)

Thanks in advance for any and all info guys!

Scroll down to page 204 for an exploded view of the electric/manual in the above link to see what I'm referring to. As much as I'd like to do the same thing you're talking about in my 02', it would take to much effort to make it work and you'd have more money and machining time in it than it'd be worth.

Your best bet is to find a used manual shift case and swap it out, but you may have to swap your drive shafts if you get an older t-case with the traditional u-joints. Drive shafts from a 93-97 4x4 Ranger or possibly(though I can't swear to it) a 91-96 4x4 explorer should work.
