can you take an electric tcase, take the motor off of it and turn it into a manual shift or are they two completly different cases?

i just swapped out my electric tcase, looks to me like the front half of the t-case is different than that of a manual case....i dont see why the internals wouldnt swap over tho

Look into the shiftster. It does basically that, you don't get a handle in the cab but instead a knob on the side of the T'-case. If it a trail truck you could always make an access panel.
