Im installing an electric fuel pump. I had a regulator hooked up between the stock in tank pump and the carb but was getting leaks in multiple places. Do I need to remove the stock pump or can I hook the new electric pump up to the sending line and cap off the return line? Thanks, A-

I would take the stock pump out!! Electric fuel pumps are nice. I have used them on a lot of race cars and my trucks before. Easier to work on and easier to get to if they go out on you. Let's see if anybody else has an idea on that removal. I know that several of my buddies did the same as I did and just took it out of the tank when they switched over to another fuel pump. Pain in the butt, Eh?

I think the hard part is getting the bed off to get to it and I already did that. I just wouldn't know how to run new lines into the tank?
