I installed a 88 b2 2.9 in a 87 r that had a 2.3. I'v been tracing and splicing wires on the drives fenderwell.WATER TEMP,OIL PRES,OIL LEVEL GAUGES work,fuel pump runs when turn ign.for 1 to2 sec.power to coil. ? is I dont have spark.there is two black with white stripe wires. if I switch them around the fuel pump runs continuously with ing. on. So I think I have them right.I touched all four together and IACV clicked and either in side distr. or fuel injectors clicked. Did I burn somthing out in dist. or module.they would still click if i'd do it again.There is a wire that go's threw a plug and changes to pink/green I read its for mfl instead of idiot light on 87, do I need this hooked up to dash to run truck? Do I need my box on with tail lights hooked up to run truck I read something about taillights on here, what dose that affect?
