El Chivo - '06 FX4 Desert Race Truck

We are only running a HOWE aftermarket reservoir for the steering only. Remember, the truck is on dirt 100% of the time with fairly high tire pressure, so it doesn't have to work like its on pavement. Wheel offset will also affect how much your PS pump has to work too.

** For reference ... we are running 285/75/16's (basically 33's) with 3" body lift. Torsions are not stock, but set close to stock height. Before people trip out about the body lift, it is 3" chromoly tube welded and plated to the body mounts, also eliminating the body bushings. It is the only class legal lift that we can do to clear our tires.

It is just a piece of 3/8" aluminum. It is attached to tubes that are welded between the front crossmember and cage.

Don't worry ... this isn't the first time THAT quarterpanel has been smashed. Thank god we have body guy on the team!
