1987 B2.. the 2.9 started to what feels like a miss once in a while.. which really started to bug me soo the first thing i did was unplug the EGR and took off the vacuum line and plugged it then disconnected the bat for 30 mins.. since disabling the EGR the engine started to run good.. im just wondering do the EGR's f-up? cause it looks pretty simple or could there be something else causing the misses?

Any ideas would help

Thanks,
Syko

EGR diaphram can be burst/tore and create improper operation. The pintel can also be carbon'd up and jammed. Most often it results in exhaust gasses making it into the combustion chamber during idle (which is not supposed to happen - only at high RPMs should the EGR be releasing exhaust gasses to the combustion chamber) and that will cause issues at low RPMs.
