So the main question is how hard do yall think it would be to convert a 94 2.3 from efi to carb(s), maybe its just me but I always felt carb setups are more fun, that and I have a big heart for underdog motors.:icon_hornsup:

just a matter of swapping intake manifolds off of a older ranger

A little difficult getting the DIS system up and running split apart from the EFI in the PCM.Esslingers makes a stand alone DIS system but pretty pricey. There is a company in Cal. that also makes a system,go to 4m.net and look around,he is usually there. He races a asphalt late model with a N/A 2850 motor with DIS and four individual stand alone fuel injector, makes about 300 hp on race gas

A carb intake won't bolt or match the ports on that '94 2300.
I believe that '94 block doesn't have the distributor hole either.
You need an '89 block and an '88 or older head.

94 block does have the Dist.hole if you want to go that way, changed design in 95.As Mutant said, you can use a 88 head and bottom intake and get a adaptor to put on a Holley
