Posted once before but have done more since. The truck will stumble/cut-out randomly w/check engine light flicker. W/KOEO the engine light will flicker VERY randomly,can hear relays,IAC cycle,As if eec is losing power. Does it hot or cold. Radio,lights,guages are steady. Checked usual suspects,(relay, ignition, grounds.etc. Unplugged EGR, IAC, MAF, etc., thinking maybe something was shorted. No dice. Found pin diagram to EEC and ran 6 grounds, 2 ign hots and mem. wire from bat to harness 2" back from connector. still does it, so guessing it's connector or EEC, or did I miss something? Never seen one fail like this. The EEC is marked CSY2. 97 2.3 man. Will any other EEC's interchange? MY KINGDOM FOR A CARB!!!! LOL

anything 95-97 2 or 4x4 will work as long as its a manual truck

Swap the WOT relay with the ECU relay or just change it, under 10 bucks.
