Edge Lowering: Front shock mounts as support

Will the front shock mounts support the weight of the front of the truck?

Say if you used a coilover... or airbag over shock...
 
no you need to make a bracket of some kind. That's too much weight
 
brackets just like all the coil over kits came with to brace the top tower
 
You can put coil overs in and they will hold no problem . My 2007 has been done and driven for a year.
 
sory i forgot to mention . I have the proper set up to slam and drive new rangers . It takes some work but not to much cash. My truck is tucking 20,s with no bags.........if anyone is interested let me know.
