edge 4x4 and 4x2 question

is the frame on the 4x2 04 edge the same as a 4x4 truck of the same year. they have the same suspension and i was thinking when this truck starts to be a piece of crap in about 6 years i could possibly put in a 4x4 front end when they become available in the junkyard. just need to know if all the 4x4 would bolt up to the 2wd stuff. and i also found a rolled 04 4x4 edge for less than a grand on craigslist with 60k on it and just the roof is caved in on it. could be a fun little project.

The 2wd Edge's use the same frame as the 4wd Edge's. The only thing that isn't on the frame that will need to be welded to do the 4wd swap is a small tab that holds the axle assembly. Everything is a swap over conversion.
