94 Ranger is not behind the kick panel. It is out in the engine bay straight back from the battery, and next to the big white cannon plug.

Yup. In the firewall. Driver's side. Sorta behind the inner fender well.
In a way... It is in the DS kick panel... Just not accessible from the inside.
