I am having some trouble with my ECM controlling stuff, and was just wondering what would happen, if sometime between 1994 and now, that somebody put in a different ECM than what i'm suppose to have?
Like say, I have the F47F-12A650-MB
And, It's suppose to have F37F-12A650-AAB
How do I figure out what it originally had? And what would happen if it had the wrong ECM?
I've gone through a couple ECM's and I can't get it to shift into OD. I know it will shift, 'cause I wired it up to a switch, and it will shift, but my original trans blew up, and I dont know why. SO, I dont want to take any chances.
