I am SASing a 88 ranger. I am using 5.5'' superflex EB coils with stock buckets. Will you please post pics of how you mounted yours. If its really difficult to do, please post up the easiest way to do it. Really it just isnt matching up well for me.

Just buy the EB upper coil buckets. I think i got mine from Bronco Graveyard.
The EB coils fit like shit in the ranger buckets and I fooled around for a long time before I said to hell with it and just payed to have it done right.

I'm running the EB coils in stock buckets for now, but when I do the diesel swap I'm gonna fab my own, or get a HD set as I don't think the stock sheet metal ones are up to the stress's of wheelin with all the extra weight.

And yes, the hose clamps have been replaced...they were only a temporary fix.

They do fit differently on each side, and you have to take a good deal of time with a hammer and a prybar and a torch but you can get them to sit pretty damn good with some time.

I know they could be better in better buckets, but thats not bad for the factory ones, and it holds up to some good abuse too thats for sure and rides great on the street.

No actually it doesn't make any noise and I've been doing about 140 miles a day with them for the past 2 weeks or so with one serious wheeling trip so far.

Cut that turn off the top that cuts across like that and mount them like I did my Jeep coils. I welded a small tab to the upper part of the bucket to support the coil where it protrudes out a bit. No bowing, no noise.

Tire iron, are those superflex 5.5'' coils from b graveyard, )thats what im running.) I ordered coil towers form graveyard but it will be 3 weeks.. .
-I like how yours fit, can you post more pics of your build as far as shocks go?
-Will 79 bronco towers work?
-And what did you do for brake lines? please link me to a build thread, or details of brake lines and such, details details details PLEASE
-What did you do on the bottom to mve the buckets in?
-(this swap is seeming to be much more of a "bolt in" than i thought though)

heres the album with all of my pics, I haven't written a build yet on it. They are the superflex 2.5" coils and they ride great. I didn't move any spring perches, just used em like they are. For the shocks I'm still using the factory buckets and just pulled up a listing of shock specifications from monroe and found the ones I would need with the correct top and bottom and the length I wanted.

For brake lines I just built it like all solid axles were originally built (except the jeeps of course) with a hard line down to the frame from the master, then a soft line to the center of the axle where it was factory on the EB, then hard lines to each side on the axle, then a soft line to each caliper. Then center soft line I used was for an EB and the outer soft lines are for an EB with the larger chevy calipers (has a 7/16th banjo hole).

The only thing I had to fabricate was the transmission crossmember to connect the radius arm brackets and the trac-bar bracket on the frame. Everything else was a bolt in setup. Ill get around to write-up at some point, right now I've just been dealing with other parts of the truck having done no maintenece in about 75,000 miles the past 2 years (yes I drive a LOT).

can you please post a pic of ride height with the 5.5'' superflex. i have an idea its gonna be to tall. (but i would like you to prove me wrong)

How much lift did u get when using the 5.5" super flex? I am trying to figure out what springs to order right now. I have a 6" Lift on the truck right now and only want it about 1" higher after the SAS.

When I SAS'd my ranger I used the 2.5" deaver superflex coils and got about 6 inches of lift from the stock 2wd height.
