Talk about something great. I just finished doing a drive shaft swap that I found on the other site Sooooooooo easy it ridiculous. And only because I changed the universal joints it just cost less than $75.00 smackers. If I hadn’t changed the joints it would have cost $39.98. Just remember if you do this make sure to take your torxs drivers to the yard. I forgot mine and was going to have to go back to the house but I met another gear head and he loaded me his. It took about 4 hours to do the whole job . Now no cv joint and grease able u-joints. Yeah. If you need to change your d-shaft try this. Easzy-pezey.

Hmm. I think I'd rather shorten the shaft and retain the double cardan setup.

Double cardan is stronger, might be more parts, but its stronger and gives more range.

That’s true I did make a copy of the address. Not too skilled at this compuker stuff. And yes the carden joint is stronger but the point of the post is that you don't have to shorten the shaft or have it rebalanced. A little modification of a front explorer shaft and you can have a repairable and grease able u-joint shaft without having to spend a fortune.
