There is a early FS Bronco for sale near my house and it has a lift, the truck is basically a parts truck. I am wondering if i can take anything off it and use the stuff to lift my ranger.

Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

"early" bronco's aren't full size right :dunno:

Are you refering to the 78 and 79 solid axle Broncos?

If so, then **** YES.

Get the D44, 9", rad arms, buckets, trac bar mount, shock mounts, everything.

And then sell what ever is left. DO IT.

sorry for the confusion in my wierd mind it made sense. Its a 78 79 full size bronco, I think i havent actually stopped to see but i just needed to know if it would be worth while.

id put the ENTIRE drivetrain into the ranger lol

well if you search around there are a few rangers sitting on top of fs bronco frames. If my bronco would have been newer than 84 and easy to get threw emissions I would have placed my cab on the frame and bobbed the bed. If you wanted a crazy bad ass wheeler with a shorter wheel base about 110" I think. so a set of custom cab mounts and body lift you should be set to go.

LOL??? I'd be dead serious about that comment.

Swap it all!!!

i am dead serious, but i dont think the original poster is really that ambitious to have a bad ass truck LOL

I am definately ambitious and i would love a "BADASS" ranger its just my shop is full right now building another car. I just dont know what all i would have to do to complete the switch and i didnt want to spend money on something that wouldnt work and would sit in the yard.

My rander is a 2wd 4cyl 5speed and in my mind i want it to be a 4wd 4.0 or 5.0(havent decided yet) 5speed and i have no idea how to do most of the work but the best way to learn is to do. So if that aint ambitious i dont know what is.

So if you have made a switch similar to this please let me know what you had to do, because i dont want to dive into this blind. THANKS FOR HELPING SO FAR! :icon_cheers: I REALLY DO APPRECIATE IT!

you can PM me leave a message here or send me an e-mail with pics or without anything i need to know donaldschick@hotmail.com
