Thats what my research was leaning to. I don't know why it would fail so soon. Maybe a shitty rebuild job?Unless I'm losing my mind, the E4OD is normally a reliable transmission (no personal experience, just thinking back). That seems really odd.
The E4OD was the bigger trans, right? vs the 4R70W? And behind a 5.4 it should actually be a 4R100, correct?
If that's indeed the case, I'm curious if you can put a 5R110W from a V10 truck in it. That would be the next upgrade. I'm sure there would be a lot of tuning and programming involved to make it function correctly.
4R75 replaced the 4R70W in the 3v Era.
Had a 1 (one) year warrantyMaybe. Any warranty to fall back on?
