E-fan conversion

my fan is sealed between the fan itself and the factory shroud. its not just sitting there. 100% of the air the fan pulls moves through the radiator.

EDIT: i see your a 4cyl, disregard my probe comment. ill keep it there for other to read in case they dont realize. a little waterproofing and a shroud, your good to go!

You scared the shiznit out of me about the probe until I read the edit. :icon_twisted:

But yeah it's not 100% complete yet, edits will come.

Also, I still have the stock shroud and the bolts that hold it in. I thought I could have done something with it, so I guess I'll try to rig up something. :icon_thumby:

lol sorry.

yea ive had to do mine over 3 times because of "imperfections" lol
if ya need any help let me know

It is strange, the way the lighting is hitting the shroud it could go either way now that you mention it. :icon_twisted:

Did it take much work to fuse the two together?

oh thats a little older of a pic, if your seeing it open somewhere. its sealed NOW.

I used sheet metal and seam sealer. its bolted in place with a few bolts. Im gonna be pulling it to do some work, ill take pics soon.

Speaking of imperfections, what did you do with the ignition wire? I had the displeasure of listening to my fan run while the truck was off.

Like I said, edits are to come.

Not positive since ive never had an electric fan, but shouldn't it be hooked to a switched source.
