Dynomax Finally came in and on!

actually i have last years cat back system, they do sound pretty good for the price and suprisingly give a good response as compared to the stock garbage

im happy with mine for what i payed. i wouldnt say i love it though. yours sounds better than mine does. with my 2.9, its very quiet...

im on my 2nd dynomax catback lol..damn salt up here in OHIO really does a number on anything metal..but for the price they are cheap to replace if they do rust through and fit up decently.

did you get it with the rebate? cause i got my catback with the super turbo muffler for $25 after a $75 dollar rebate, i got it, i just need to put it in

awell i love it cause my old 84 has a flowmaster and a massive exhaust leak and it gets soooooo droning... So this is nice I can hear it outside or with the windows down but its quiet in the cab. So yeah I wanted something that gave it a sporty sound, not loud and I think it worked out great.

Hah yeah I think I'm gonna go over it with some exhaust paint to keep all the salt off of it. and so the only shiny thing under the truck doesn't stick out like a sore thumb.

And yeah I got it with teh rebate I just had to wait till I got it so I can sen the proof of purchase off to them. I paid 125 with the rebate though... Newer exhausts are more expensive. Almost thought about getting one for the old 84' would have been like 10 bucks... with the rebate but i didn't think about it.

heh, not quite that cheap. i ended up paying about $50 by the time they tacked on S&H

that sound amazing! Makes me want to get one hella bad...I really need to upgrade my stock exhaust

So a little more time has passed. . . . Hows she holdin up? Leaks? Sound? Im on the fence about which system to buy but this ones near the top.

Its holding up amazing, and sounds just as good!

No leaks, but I did it in the shop I work at, and used high temp silicon gasket maker at the cats, and tightend the clamps and retightend them. Its all still set up the way I had it. I also painted it in flat black VHT exhaust paint. should keep it nice and rust free through the winter.

I know its been a while since I got around to it but....

Heres the Dynomax exhaust system after its been broken in, I got about 8,000 miles on it right now and its still holding up really well. Compared to the old clip I can tell the difference but the camera does it NO justice! In person it sounds amazing! and still not loud in the cab. :yahoo:
