Hey all, new member here. I just bought an 89 Bronco II a few days ago and have been spending a lot of time lurking on here and reading. I found a few older threads about the DuraTrac, but was wondering if anyone was using them now and how they like them? I'm getting 33-12.50-15's.
Also anyone have feedback about discount tire? Thats where Im thinking of ordering from, but dont have any experience with them online or in person. Thanks in advance, Ron.

Welcome to TRS Can't tell you about dura tracks but I sure like the idea of more B2's out there on 33" tires. Also a warning lurk around here very much and you'll be doing a lot more than big tires.

i've used discount tire before, as well as tire rack, had good experiences with both. I know the last time I was shopping for tires, tirerack had free shipping and discount tire didn't, which ended up making about an $80 difference in price, in tire racks favor. Just check both ways, including shipping.

I haven't bought tires at a shop in 7 years, and that one was an emergency. Usually I can buy from tirerack and pay someone to mount/balance them and come out ahead. I come out even further ahead because my friends dad owns a tire shop in town so he lets me in to use the shop after hours.

I believe that 100 %. My plans have already changed several times over the past day or so. The more I read, the more I cant decide. Im going to do the B2 with no lift, trimming and the 33's. Got carpet ordered, perfect 1995 mustang seats and console ready to go in, and a few other little things I'm doing while deciding on the DuraTracs. Thanks for the welcome.

I did exactly that, compared several diff companys. 4wheelparts came out to like $918 for the duratracs, black steelies, mounted, balanced and shipped. I emailed discount tire and asked them to beat it, they came back with $895 mounted, balanced and shipped WITH lugs included. I think I'm going to order them tomorrow, I cant seem to find any negatives with the duratracs.

I think duratracs are going to be my next tire on the Bronco II. I'm going with 31s though cause its a daily driver with 3.73s and I don't want to regear just yet.

I'm in the same boat, daily and 3.73's but if I dont hurry up and make myself miserable driving around undergeared with these 33's I will never take the plunge and re-gear to 4.56 like I want too! I look at it as a motivational tool....
