That is the one for the 2.8 D9 is 79 carb does it have the fixed air bleed or the variable you can tell by looking in the top of the venturi booster there would be a wishbone looking lever that lifts two rods up when you open the throttle. You can put the #50 jets out of your stock carb if it dont have them in there and you may need to plug the choke preheater fitting on the choke body and get the felpro #60529 spacer to plug the vacuum leak on the base of the carb. GL

It's fixed .... don't know on the jets ... got the spacer.

Thx! Will advise

It is rel easy to check better when it is out but you just take the airhorn off the top of the carb and pop the float out you will need a large flat screwdriver to change them being careful not to get any metal shavings into the fuel ports they are usually pretty tite. I am running #46 jets you should be able to read the size in the carb if they are not over 50 you should be good. the carb I got had the #46 jets in it and wanted to try them and it runs so good I just left them but everyone here recommends #50s and that is what was in the stock carb. The concern with smaller jets in running too lean and burning valves and pistons at WOT and never ever put it to the floor.

Works great! Little sticky on the choke, running a wee bit rich but what a difference.

Cool it can take a bit to work the bugs out but yea it has been a while since I have had to raise the hood. It sure is nice to check the fluids and see they are still holding level knock on wood. Did you cap off the choke pre heater fitting on the choke thermostat housing it is the fitting going back and down at a 45 degree angle with the compression fitting. If not it will suck fresh air in and the thermostat wont open as fast plus it is a vacuum leak.
