Have been battling paint codes and colors, scratches and ect. So i Had large areas to paint roughly the equivalent of 2 whole doors On my 1998 ranger. So my paint codes PA which is an awesome color i think but ive had primer and ugly sanding scratches on my door and side for a while, got sick of looking at it and finally got around to getting 2 cans on dupli-color truck paint.:badidea: ( sucked!) Definitely buy the smaller auto spray can even though its much more expensive. Also bought the truck clear coat ( even worse ):bawling:. It scratches right off so im going to go out and pick up some cans of "Auto spray" Dupli-color spray paint and just go nuts. I also dripped a small drip of gas on it and it ripped the damn paint right off like it was nothing and left a gross looking smudge. I dont know if i can put a different type of clear on top of another clear but i don't care im doing it. When it comes to dupli-color spray paint don't think of pinching Penneys because you cant Just get the auto-spray and get it done once there's a reason the truck paint is way bigger and cheaper and alot more of them on the shelve. Anyone have any similar experience with this paint Doesnt have to be a bad one.

I used it on a 1'x2' section of my driver door and I was very satisfied with how well it matched, seems to hold up well too. Did you start with a clean surface and allow enough time in between coats?

Edit: I found a picture...

If you only used 2 cans, thats probably the problem. You don't have the paint on thick enough. My .02 though.
