Imagine that the intake fan of the turbo spinning at 100,000 rpm, you go from gas pedal to brake; the throttle blade slams shut. All the air in the intake tube, & intercooler has no place to go so it runs back though the turbo backwards. Causing the fan spinning at 100,000rpm to stop suddenly NOT GOOD!!!
The valve is worth it's weight in gold!!!!
