Dual altenators?

hmm....i never noticed it in that pic b4 but ur correct, that would be a dual alternator setup, hmmm interesting

im asking because im having difficulties getting the power i require out of my current single altenator, without going to a dual v belt alt. I have the largest off-the-shelf i could find at a measly 79 amps...
would a larger (100 amp +) fit in the stock mounting brackets?

I have modified a taurus 130 amp alt to work with a single v belt. It could be built to more but running anything more than the stock amperage through that wiring could be scary. I have dual batteries right now and an isolator so everything that is added on is run through the second battery.

I dont plan on running more than 80 amps through the stock wiring... anything more than that will require rewiring...
I also have dual batteries, however the secondary is only intended to run the 1500 watt inverter...
did you ever test that 130A under load on one belt? Im concerned that the horsepower draw to make that power would be too much for a single belt.....

~on a side note
~ Holyford86, do you have pictures of your York Air setup?
I have a York compressor wandering around, but need some inspiration (and to decide what im doing alt-wise) before i go for onboard air
