I have ordered the fa600 only to send it back and receive the exact same part, i was wondering in the tech library under steering tech if the pics are correct because for some reason the arm that i keep receiving is of the picture in the middle, dont know if the steering tech page is wrong or if i am receiving the wrong part, any help is greatly appreciated

Definitely not wrong.

That middle arm pictured is the one from my Rancho 2.5" lift kit. The Skyjacker FA400 arm is identical to the Rancho arm other than the 'donut' at the upper end where the steering box spline is is a little larger diameter.

The FA600 arm is much fatter, heavier, and longer (also has slightly sharper bends). I would ask for a refund and try another retailer (like here) if they cannot get it correct.

Post up a pic of the arm you got, I'm sure one of us here could confirm whether you received a 'standard' drop arm or not.

I actually have a picture posted on the urgent help forum about 10 or so posts down under pitman arm problems, any help is greatly appreciated huntin season is right around corner and gotta get truck done

You may have, but I don't see any pics now. Better re-post them.

Looks like 6" of drop to me. The bends don't look quite as sharp asbo would expect though.

Yeah going by the measurments in the steering tech article its not right, and it is also the same size as the one that is already on my truck and ive got some angle on my tie rod ends

Is that about 6" measured from a straight line (represented by your pen?) off the face of the spline end to the bottom side of the TRE end? If so, then that has to be the FA600 arm.
My Rancho arm measures right about 4-1/8" measured that same way, so you definitely do have a different arm.

Possible your truck already has a FA600? (I assume you did measure your existing arm like shown in the Steering page pic, correct?)

How about a pic of your steering linkage on the truck?

Some way or 'nother there is an answer to this...

I remeasured arm and i am definately getting right one, apparently my truck already has the extreme drop, but i still have pretty bad steering angles, so what is the next step to fixing this truck without dumping a bunch of money in the setup, i will take some pics this evening and post them and see what u guys think would be the best route

HERES A COUPLE MORE, IT JUST DOESN'T SEEM LIKE MY PITMAN ARM HANGS AS LOW AS SOME OF THE OTHER TRUCKS THAT I'VE SEEN ON HERE, SO IM JUST WONDERING WHAT ELSE TO DO OR IF I HAVE TO DEAL WITH IT THIS WAY

I believe you don't have the extreme drop pitman arm. Hard to tell, but it looks as your pitman arm is the same as my 87 pitman arm.

I think same thing even though this is a 95 model everyone keeps tellin me the FA600 is the extreme drop arm but it just doesn't look right to me, I'm about to say screw it and just drive it the way it is and deal with it

(I assume you did measure your existing arm like shown in the Steering page pic, correct?)

Can you please confirm that you have done this, and that the measurement is 7", or 5"?

7" no doubt about it, so now what options am I looking at
