Driving with SPOUT connector removed


I wouldn't. The computer is not able to advance the timing to where it needs to be. Therefore all those fancy sensors the engine relies on are useless.

Find out what the problem with your truck is and fix it. If it runs better with the spout out, you have something wrong.
 
its not going to hurt anything to drive with the spout un hooked, but mileage and power will be noticeably decreased. if thats ok with you then go for it.

but i agree with Jspafford, you should properly diagnose and repair the problem.
