Een having vibes since I did the fm146 swap, reused the a4ld trans mount. Vibes occured under throttle and downshifting and letting clutch out while slowing. Cut the cardon end off an explorer front shaft and used a rear shatfs slip stub on it. Perfect length and the takeoff vibes are gone, but when I slow down and put it in 2nd and ease the clutch out I still get the downshift vibes. If I let the clutch out at a higher rpm it dowsnt vibe, only when I ease out the clutch at maybe 3k rpms or lowere. I can't stand the vibes. The explorer shaft made a lot of difference and my old shaft was fully extended at ride height.

I have aal's and 2" non tapered blocks. Pinion andgle doesn't look that bad, and the ujoints aren't binding. I did not change the ujoints in the junkyard explorer shaft. Trans mount looks ok and it doesn't move much. So here's the thing, with no rear shaft and in 4wd driving with the front one, there is no vibes!

So what could it be? U joints, trans mount, pinion angle, or something else? Btw shaft balance weights are in tact, and I have no high speed vibes

Thanks guys
