Hey guys, i know this isnt a super urgent matter but it really doesnt seem to belong in any other category since it is a 1988 Chevy suburban front cardigan driveline thats being mounted to a BW 1350 Tcase and powering a Dana 30 axle. I am currently having a buddy at a machine shop cut my old toothed slip yoke weld on a flat round adapter plate to mount it all together. ( included a pic that is also similar to what mine will look like.

Okay here is the skinny, the drive is all stock, so it has the inner teflon plastic retainers to hold the U joints in place, i have already found out that i am suppose to heat it up until the plastic oozes and melts out to release the U joint. then i can proceed to tear it all down.
Question 1. With this being the case, do i use a new U joint that is a inner or exterior clip?

Question 2. I saw on broncograveyard that a late ’80’s fullsize bronco uses the same driveline set up for the rear, so can i purchase there rebuild kit to rebuild my own chevy driveline?

okay for some reason i cant get my photos to upload now... is there a new way verses the old way? since monday jim updated and reloaded the website server?
