hahaha man those are HILARIOUS, i know you were jokin, i was too man, unless u werent haha

Oh Well, I Wasnt Jokin, Actually I Was..;brownbag;:not_i: HAHAHAHA ahahha Lol

while i believe he deserved what he got i also believe "live and learn" it did take balls to fess up to what he did and from my perspective he admitted it here because he knows he got off to easy and he knew that a few unnamed members hear would flip out on him and make him feel like shit . i think in his mind thats part of the punishment he needs and the rest will come in time (the next time he goes to insure a vehicle and it costs so much he shits himself publicly) so ya in a since i do feel a little sympathy because a few members here took it to far and all i can say to that is im embarrassed to be on here with users that have to thresten other members to feel good ( big big man eh?)

If he had killed a member of your family, your wife, girlfriend or best friend, what would you be saying then? Would you tell him to forget it about it & say shit happens? If he did nothing more then wreck into your truck what would be saying then? It's too damned late to "get off someone's ass" after the damage has been done no matter what you think or say.

I doubt very much based on the posts I've read that anyone "needed to feel like a "big big man" when saying what they really believe & feel about people who drive drunk & get away with it all because they happen to know someone.

People who have lost someone forever all because of a drunk driver feel very strongly about those who drive drunk & get away with it even when no one got hurt or worse got killed. Until you have experienced it yourself, don't condemn those that have or claim they are being a "big big man" because they get on his ass over it. A truck can be replaced as well as a driver's license, but the life of a loved one once it's been taken away can never be replaced. When your dead you are dead. And when you are wrong you are wrong. There is no in between, no middle ground.

You think about your girlfriend, your friends, your truck, your job, your money dont' you? Then THINK BEFORE YOU DRINK as well. It's too late to think about something once you have killed someone else & possibly yourself too. And lots of people think more strongly about those who do things & get away with it then other people do & that doesn't mean they are trying to be a "big big man" in any way. They are being HONEST about it because they have lost someone or live with someone who has been seriously injured all because of someone who thought drinking & driving was COOL or worse yet, they can get away with or it won't happen to them. I was once told by someone something that I have never forgotten which goes like this: Until you have walked in my shoes, don't ever tell me how I should think or feel about something. It's a lot easier for someone to say things about something verses those who are living with it everyday of their lives. I, like some others on this forum KNOW ALL ABOUT IT as we have to live with it everyday of our lives. And that by no means make any of us "big big men" but it does make us mad as hell when we hear & read about something like this knowing full well the damage this young man could have caused. Would you be making the statements you have made if he had killed someone you cared about & got on the internet & talked about it?

I've said all I am going to say about it. Old saying goes like this: "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink". It's all up to him now & I hope for his sake as well as his family, friends & loved ones he has learned a good hard lesson. For anyone to learn anything in life, you have to first get their attention. I'd say he knows very well how the majority of people on TRS feel about this subject & anyone doing it for whatever reasons they decide to do it wouldn't you?

Southern,
Seriously, I wish you a long and healthy life. I also hope and pray that this lesson is in concrete, and that future lessons are learned by the example of others. Experience is a great teacher, but not the only teacher, and sometimes not the safest.

Hearing most already burned ya. Lesson learned and no one was truely hurt. Better the Ranger totaled than you in the hospital.

Have your self a pepsi or coke. :icon_pepsi:

He deserves to feel bad and the behavior he is getting. If he didn't want flamed he should not have posted it on a public forum.
