I have replaced this &*%$ing thing three times in three years. First a Ford unit. Then an Echlin one. Now one from Autozone that is guaranteed for two years. So if it goes out in a year, who cares.

that the cause. condensation collects and it ruins those sensors.. i have a customer that comes to our shop about once every 8 months with her escape... every time she comes we dump a tee spoon of water out of the thing.... it is because of the short trip...
