Ok finally got all my parts finished for my doubler. Got it put together and stuffed up in my Ranger. However now it seems though the font case is stuck in low and wont come out. :annoyed: Rear case shifts fine and nothing feels like its binding up. I could have sworn everything was shifting good before I put it up in the truck. :icon_confused: Has anyone else had this problem? Ide like to fix it without dropping it back down, damn things heavy lol.

Which transfer cases do you have for the doubler and for the main case?
You may just have the shift lever at the wrong angle on the doubler, it can go on several different ways because the mating piece has sort of a 6-point pattern if I remember right.

At any rate, you should be able to shift it in and out by hand. the tranny may need to be in neutral to shift into 4wd, but that shouldn't matter if it's already in gear.

I know what you mean about it being heavy, I removed and installed my t/c and doubler twice by myself and it's not fun.

They both are 1350's. Im kinda wondering if I by some odd chance got the shift fork put in upside down or something, or if somehow it popped out of the shift lever bar inside. Well at any rate I guess the only way to solve this suk is to drop the damn thing and check it out. :annoyed:

:icon_confused::icon_confused::icon_confused: Well I dropped it back out and pulled the front plate. Everything looked ok. Pulled the guts and reassembled numerous times and still kept wanted to act up. So finally I throwed some white lithium grease on all the parts and stuck it together again, BINGO :yahoo: things started shifting right. So now to stuff it back up in there :annoyed:
