Double Flairing.

Hey if it works for you then go with it I was just surprised to hear that after what my teacher said about them.

Clean the burr on the inside and outside of the tubing at the cut to a small angle before you try to flare it.

Actually if you have a good enough "hand" to radius the outside of
corner of the cut edge of the tubing you'll get the best results.

I use a long tapered reamer and an 82degree countersink
and do a sort of "two angle" bevel on the inside edge of
the tubing.

And even though I have a deburring tool that works well on
the outside of the tubing (it's actually a Lee Casemouth deburring tool)

Think about which way you are trying to get the tubing to bend...
you are trying to get the outside corner to fold inwards against
the die and a sharp edge will resist you.

The inner edge isn't nearly as important as the outer edge
Though if you don't remove the inner burr you are liable either have the tubing stick on the pilot of the die or to snap the pilot off the die

either event is "bad"

Well I dont know the ranger guardian must have been watching out for me because I have finished all of the lines and no leakes. Well not from me anyway. One of the front calipers might be leaking from the bleeder screw. So lets see I all of the lines from the master and not one leak. I better stop working on it while im ahead lol. Thanks all for your help.
