I have a 2007 mazda b2300 and it seems like every time i am driving on the highway i seem to get a little bit of cold air that comes in on the bottom of the driver side door at the back end. I have also noticed on any day it's wet water also comes in a little bit in this area. It isn't enough to pool up on the flootmats or anything, but the side of the seat and the bottom of the seatbelt looks damp, which wouldn't be soo bad, but in the winter it also builds up salt in this area, which i really don't like.
While it was under warranty they replaced to door seals, but that didn't seem to make much of a difference.
Has anyone else had a problem like this? And would it be ok to just put some caulking or weather stripping or something over top of the rubber seal itself to try and build it up more so it presses tighter when the door is closed?
Any advice would be appreciated.
